Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was lovely, comfortable, and clean with a great view across the city. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, but there were minor issues with the service. The location was excellent for exploring the city and enjoying great food options, although there were some initial hiccups. The dining experience was hit-and-miss, impacting the overall impression. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel exudes charm and comfort in its own unique way, although there were some noise issues in room 301. The staff were accommodating and kept the bar open for us, overlooking the botanic gardens and River Tay. The location is sweet and enchanting, with lovely grounds to relax in, but the dining experience fell short of expectations. Rooms are toasty but ventilation could be improved, while service remains top-notch and flexible to special requests.
I had a wonderful weekend stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated and luxurious, complete with a soaking tub and comfy seating by the large windows overlooking the hotel grounds. While there was some noise from the staircase above, everything was to a very high standard.
